Prashanth Neel wrote and directed the forthcoming Indian Telugu language action thriller Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, while Vijay Kiragandur is producing the film. The film has an ensemble cast that includes Prabhas in the title role, as well as Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Guha.
Production on the film was set to commence in January 2021 in the area of Godavarikhani, Telangana, after being announced in December 2020. Ravi Basrur created the score, while Bhuvan Gowda shot the cinematography. On September 28, 2023, it will premiere in theatres throughout the globe.
‘Salaar’s’ teaser, which debuted on July 6, gave viewers a peek at Prabhas tackling serious international crime. Additionally, it commented extensively on the film’s directing, storytelling, production, and attempt to enter a global market. Prabhas’ character was introduced by Tinnu Anand. In the teaser, only Prabhas, Tinnu Anand, and Prithviraj Sukumaran were shown. The worldwide mafia members shown in the teaser undoubtedly belonged to someone with a considerably greater influence. The public anticipates the reveal of the major international talent together with the teaser.
Already a success in the USA?
Recently, Salaar has become the most awaited film from Tollywood. Prashanth Neel, who became famous with KGF, directs the film, which stars Prabhas and Sruthi Haasan.
On August 25, 2023, Salaar reservations in the US will officially begin, as stated by the distributors. Bookings, however, were made available on Monday, which caught many people by surprise. The early reaction has been phenomenal, even though full booking availability in the USA has yet to be released. The movie’s pre-bookings have already raked in $100,000.
Salaar also stars Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tinnu Anand, Eeshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy, among many more. The film was produced by Hombale Films and scored by Ravi Basrur, with Vijay Kiragandur at the helm.
