Despite being placed outside the paywall this year, the second season of Bigg Boss OTT has drawn over 100 million viewers, according to a top business official at Viacom18’s streaming platform JioCinema. The executive said that the show’s success was due in part to the elimination of a paywall, which allowed fans all across the country to watch Bigg Boss OTT, and in part to the show’s demographically varied cast of participants.
